Broadcasting from the heart of Chicago — a city often marked by crime and violence — this podcast brings you powerful testimonies of transformation, healing, and hope. Each episode features real-life stories from individuals raised in some of Chicago’s toughest neighborhoods and also from all around the country: former gang members, drug dealers, incarcerated individuals, and those impacted by violence. We also welcome voices from law enforcement, police officers, and military veterans who share their experiences from the front lines, offering insight, perspective, and a deep commitment to service.
At the core of every conversation is a message of redemption through faith, the power of community, and the journey toward healing deep trauma. These are stories of resilience, purpose, and perseverance—lives that have moved from "Darkness to Light" and "From Wrong to Strong."
Tune in to be challenged, uplifted, and reminded of the power of God's grace to change any life.

Welcome to the Wrong to Strong two Minute Devotional. Each week we're blessed to have a new guest share a powerful scripture and a word of encouragement to ignite your spirit and feel your journey of faith. Let these messages inspire and strengthen you as you grow closer to God, stay strong, keep the faith, and let's grow together. We're on a mission from God, from darkness to light and from wrong to strong. This is Pastor Rocky coming from Dallas, Texas, this is wrong to Strong Two Minute Devotional. Today I'm coming from Matthew 28. Verses 18 to the end, which is 20. This is Jesus giving the last instructions to which many theologians call the Great Commission. So he's giving these instructions to the first century disciples as well as to you, and I. So he says, all authority has been given to me, both in heaven and in earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations. Baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all that have commanded you and Lord, and which you always, even to the end of this age, So what Jesus is doing is he's, he's telling these disciples that the work must continue. Here's two mistakes that we, the church, the disciples of today have been making for a very long time. We're not to just jump on an airplane and go to a. Third world country wherever, tell people about Jesus and then come back home and, and live, uh, life as we, uh, left it. No, it's, it's something different is what he's saying. He's saying, go, yes, go where the people are at. That's your backyard, that's your neighborhood, that's the community. That's your state. That's your nation. And if he calls you other places, then. You are to go, but he says, go and make disciples. Now, the other mistake that we make is we don't make disciples. Instead, we get converts. Just put your faith in Jesus Christ is what we say. Right? And you are a brother or a sister in Christ and we never see them again. That's not what he told us to do. He says, go and make disciples making disciples. Is where the rubber meets the road. It's what I like to call rolling up your sleeve, ministry, getting in the trenches and working with people and pouring into people and making sure that they're growing in their faith. So that's the hard part, but. He says, baptize them in the name of the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit teaching them, you are walking with them, you're working with them, teaching them to observe all that I've commanded you, and he says, lo and which you always until the end of the age. In other words, you don't do it in your own strength. In your own power. He's there to not only guide you, but to lead you in how to do this. And he gives us the strength to do this. I am Pastor Rocky. This is wrong to strong. God bless you and God keep you.
