Welcome to the wrong too strong, two minute devotional each week. We're blessed to have a new guest share a powerful scripture and a word of encouragement to ignite your spirit and fuel your journey of faith. Let these messages inspire and strengthen you as you grow closer to God and embrace the transformation he has for you. Stay strong, keep the faith and let's grow together. We're on a mission from God from darkness to light. And from Wrong to strong. Hello, my name is Jorge Irizarry. I wanna welcome you to the wrong to strong two minute Devotional. Today I'm be reading out of Matthew chapter 18, verses 21 and 22, and scripture says in the name of the father's son, holy Spirit. Then Peter came to him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him up to seven times. Jesus said to him, I do not say to you up to seven times, but up to 70 times, seven. The meaning about 70 times seven doesn't mean 490 times, but that we shouldn't keep track of how many times we forgive someone. Forgiveness. I want to talk about this because people have this problem to forgive. This was a part of my story. I was hurt and then I held grudges. I developed hatred, I needed to let go of the past. And move forward. I had to forgive and needed to be forgiven. So I forgave to let go and have been forgiven and set free. I'm not perfect. I still make mistakes. And I have struggles. I had a beef with a coworker for a while, and as a follower of Christ, I couldn't and shouldn't be this way, and it was bugging me. I was feeling convicted, and pride was trying to pull me the other way. I prayed on it, In our men's group, my brothers in Christ prayed with me and for me. I swallowed my pride. and went to make the peace with him. Whether he accepted it or not. I did what Jesus wanted me to do. As for me, if I hurt you, offended you, or did you wrong, I apologize and ask for your forgiveness. If you hurt me or did me wrong, I forgive you. I'm over it. Now I want to go to Ephesians 4 verses 31 and 32. Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tender hearted, forgiving one another just as God through Christ has forgiven you. If you need to have someone forgive you, maybe sometimes you have to be the better person. It's not going to hurt you. It will set you free. Because you will let it go. And that's, it's hard to let it go. And I know because I've been there. But with Christ, we can do anything. Thank you for tuning in. My name is Jorge Irizarry. And I'm wrong to strong.
